Rosebeck Services has its headquarters at Stokesley, a picturesque market town on the northern edge of the North Yorkshire moors. The Headquarters includes technical and customer support, quality control and logistics.
Company History
Rosebeck Services is a division of ECOSYL Products Ltd (www.ecosyl.com)– the international forage additive company. Rosebeck Services was set up in 2002 to meet the increasing requests from farmers for ECOSYL to provide other products in addition to its silage inoculants.
Rosebeck Services has established relationships with some major global suppliers of agricultural products. The Company has developed a team of agents and distributors to provide easy access to these products. In addition, Rosebeck Services can sell these direct to the UK farmer dispatching them from its accredited stores or direct from the manufacturer.
We are pleased to announce the acquisition of ECOSYL Products Ltd by Volac International Ltd on 2nd August 2012. Volac has been producing high performance nutritional dairy products for over 40 years and this acquisition cement's Volac's position as a market leader in Young Animal Nutrition, Feed Ingredients and now Forage Preservation, providing technically based solutions and field support to help dairy farmer optimise their herd productivity. Full traceability of all products is provided by Rosebeck Services through direct delivery, ingredient and product tracking systems. Extensive quality control checks are carried out to enable products to be supplied with guaranteed specifications and shelf lives.
Meeting the legal requirements
Rosebeck Services has a function within the business devoted solely to Regulatory Affairs. Rosebeck Services uses these support facilities to ensure its operations meet the EU General Food Law and Feed Hygiene Regulations and the business is registered under the Wholesale Dealers License.
Products and Services
Rosebeck Services primary goal is to supply farmers with high quality products in the areas of hygiene and animal nutrition. Based on its existing relationships with dairy farmers it has attracted companies like ECOLAB and Chance & Hunt to offer their products through Rosebeck Services outlets. A high quality technical team has been established to provide advice and information covering the product range. In addition the Customer Service Unit has been expanded to ensure that customer requirements are met.
The People
Neil Birkett
National Sales Manager for Rosebeck Services. Neil gained his diploma at Askham Bryan College before working for a number of years as a dairy herdsman. He moved into the commercial world through the feed and specialist nutrition sector in the late 1980’s before joining Rosebeck Services as the national sales manager in 2006 to lead the company growth.
Ken Stroud
Ken Stroud is Regional Manager for Rosebeck Services. He covers the South of England and Wales. Ken spent his early years working as a Herdsman on various farms then went to Agricultural College and progressed into Agricultural Sales - mainly ruminant animal feeds and associated forage products.

Laura Northam
Laura joined the company in October 2009. She has 10 years Customer Service and Sales experience. Having gained NVQ qualifications in Business Administration, she has worked in both the public sector and for private companies including Stockton Borough Council, NHS and Npower.
Dr Shirley Heron
Technical Manager for Rosebeck Services. Shirley gained a PhD at Edinburgh University in forage and animal nutrition. She joined ECOSYL in 1989 and has since gained much experience and knowledge in animal health and hygiene.
